CASCADING STYLE SHEETS (CSS)
The Net-Telco Website uses CSS. We only use tables (for tabular data) where appropriate on this Website.
Net-Telco's CSS should work with any Internet browser software, including those used by mobile devices.
TEXT SIZES
You can resize the text on this Website according to your viewing preferences by using the 'text size' options provided in most modern Web browsers. The text on this site has a relative font size which makes resizing in this manner possible.
STANDARDS COMPLIANCE
All pages on this Website are designed to be WCAG AA approved, meeting all Priority 1 and 2 checkpoints of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
All pages on this Website are designed to validate as XHTML 1.0. All pages on this site use structured semantic markup to aid usability. H1 tags are used for main headings and H2 tags are used for sub-headings.
ACCESS KEYS
Net-Telco has taken the decision not to implement access keys on our Website. Although they are intended to simplify navigation for people using special devices such as screen readers, in terms of accessibility, we feel that access keys can cause more problems them than they solve for the users that they are intended to be of help to.
Access keys can interfere with access devices and cause accessibility problems as a result. Until there is a universal standard for what link should be activated by which particular access key, Net-Telco will not use access keys.
NAVIGATION AIDS
For those using screen readers the Net-Telco Website offers the option to skip past the navigation to the main content on each page.
Many links have title attributes to describe them in greater detail.
Internal links open in the same browser window with the exception of any links to PDF and Microsoft Word documents - these open in new windows.
External links (links to other Websites) open in new browser windows and are identified by a "link opens in a new browser window" title.
