Website optimisation — help people find you
Regardless of how well designed or technologically advanced your Website is, if no one knows about it you might as well send smoke signals to attract business. There’s not much point in having a Website if nobody can find it using an Internet search engine – unless people already know about your business, and your Website is aimed only at them.
You want potential customers and new markets to find you – this is where we can help, in a variety of ways.
Research
-
Keywords: your target audience will be searching the Internet using keywords — the words they type into a search engine such as Google. We find those keywords and we can include them in your site so potential customers can find you.
-
Competitors: your competitors are promoting their business online. We look at how they are doing this so we can help you position your business accordingly, and promote the right messages
-
Market Opportunities: your competitors’ sites help us to identify the markets that represent significant opportunities, which in turn could help your business grow and increase your turnover
Website Optimisation
Optimise your site content. As well as taking care of your Website structure in terms of the code used to construct it, links, Meta Data and other “techy” aspects, you need to think about the content. Search engines look closely at your content so, as well as the technical side of things, we can advise on how your content can be tweaked in the right way to make your site perform well in the search engine rankings.
Competitor Analysis. We’ll see how your competitors are marketing themselves and see how your Website content can be improved to make your site compete and win. You want potential customers to find you first so we look at your content to get your site higher than your competitors’ in the search engine rankings.
Search Engine Marketing
Submission. Submitting your Website to directories, search engines, and any specialist sites to improve its ranking - how high up in the search engine results it appears.
Online marketing strategy. Identifying and employing the most appropriate strategies to enable your Website to be found by your potential customers. For example, a Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign using Google AdWords on a chosen keyword.
Reporting
Ongoing Website monitoring for 12 months: You get a full report about your site’s performance, and, each time we report back to you, we can agree a strategy with you that will improve performance further.
This includes ongoing:
-
optimisation (tweaking elements of the site to improve performance)
-
research (looking for new keywords, checking out your competitors)
-
submissions (adding your site to search engines and directory listing)
